To study or not to study?
Do you agree that STUDY = FAIL?
Most people did not study for their Common Test or Exams. However, they did not fail. In Mathematically speaking, it may be true...for those who don't know Maths rules. Let's take a look.
STUDY = NO FAIL ----- (1) NO STUDY = FAIL ----- (2)
(1) + (2): STUDY + NO STUDY = NO FAIL + FAIL (STUDY)(1 + NO) = (FAIL)(NO + 1) ----- (3) SUTDY = FAIL
Sounds correct? MY ANSWER IS "That is wrong." Let's take a look at my explanation.
You cannot assume that NO STUDY = NO * STUDY. Why? NO STUDY is considered as (NO STUDY). NO * STUDY is considered as (NO)(STUDY). And therefore (NO STUDY) is not equal to (NO)(STUDY). Suppose if you substitue the values of STUDY = 5 and NO = 3, this is how it looks like (3 5) = (3)(5) It does not make sense. There's a gap between 3 and 5. (3 5) is a matrix form (refer to chapter 9 of Additional Mathematics textbook).
If you are wondering why NO STUDY should be considered as one term [i.e. (NO STUDY)], that's because it will be in matrix form [i.e. (3 5)]. How can a matrix form in an equation? Wrong, am I right? Do you think so? Anyway, in common sense speaking, I don't think anyone should fail they study. What do you think? Do you think my explation is right? Or do you still think that STUDY = FAIL?
